You may be aware that IELTS listening & speaking tests are the same for both those taking the Academic module and General Training papers.

Remember, Speaking fast is not fluency. If you are good at speaking then it really doesn’t make sense to speak fast. Speak slowly but distinctly so that your words shall be more audible and understandable for the listener. It is also important that you shall maintain your pitch, maintain proper rhythm. Often, candidates think that they can impress the interviewer if they speak fast or give answers to the questions more quickly but this actually leads to confusion. So, be very careful and speak as audibly clear as you can.

IELTS exam tips, information, advice, model answers and topics to help you prepare successfully for your IELTS listening test. Prepare for your IELTS test and familiarise yourself with the structure of the test.
